Overall objective
The I-BELEAD project aims to promote the full inclusion of vulnerable young people by empowering them through an innovative educational approach based on the self-orientation methodology. This methodology will allow them to acquire new knowledge, skills, attitudes and skills. In this way, their autonomy and self-determination will be strengthened, giving them greater opportunities to participate in their community. In addition, the materials produced will be of great value to all professionals.
Activities:
We will carry out a number of activities to ensure the effective participation of a diverse group of professionals, stakeholders and young people in vulnerable situations selected (meeting the selection criteria) in the development and testing of a self-guidance-based training guide.
This will include: three focal groups, a training of trainers and a pilot phase to assess the quality and functionality of the guide created, then making the necessary adjustments. In addition, we will launch a number of activities aimed at dissemination and impact.
Expected results:
- Enhancing the inclusion of vulnerable youth in the project and making them role models for others
- Develop an effective educational resource for vulnerable professionals and young people to improve key skills for autonomy and self-determination
- Strengthening the organizational capacities of partners, expanding their networks and strengthening collaboration with institutions and stakeholders
- Raising awareness of the need to guide educational methodologies towards guided self-development and personal growth
